1994 - 2026
Lab4 (Les Elston, Adam Newman) are multi award winning writers and producers of Hard Dance, Trance and EDM . With a career spanning two decades and ten studio albums for labels inc Avex, Resist, Tidy Trax.
, Hard Trance Europe.
Lab4 have also worked on many high profile advertising campaign for the likes of Bacardi, Reebok (Superbowl), Pepsi, BBC, Coca Cola and Auto Modellista by Capcom. During this time Lab4 toured extensively gaining huge followings in Japan, Australia, The Netherlands, USA, Canada and of course the UK.
As a result of the extremely popular live shows Lab4 received many awards and accolades including Best Live Hard Dance Awards PA 2004 – 2006 and Top 20 Most Influential Electronic Bands of All Time in Loud Magazine Japan.
2020
Adam decided to quit Lab4 as he wanted to pursue a different career path away from the music business.
Les decided to carry on with Lab4 and continue to create new the music which has become synonymous with the Lab4 sound and create his own label AtomikA as well as releasing through other labels.
Lab4 have and continue to tour extensively gaining huge followings in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Scandinavia the Netherlands, Canada and of course the UK.
Les is currently releasing tracks on various labels including HTE, HQ and his own label AtomikA, as well as hitting the Loopmasters dual number one chart position for Best Sellers and Trance.
2022
Lab4 return to the sound to picture composition work and the completion of the upcoming Canadian Sci Fi / Thriller Movie ‘Neurovenge’ produced by Electronic Earth, Paper Padlock.
2026
Will the release of a Lab4 30th Anniversary Back Catalogue USB with the back catalogue in it’s entirety along with a plethora of unreleased material from the late 1990’s to mid 2000’s.
Lab4 will also continue to play numerous festivals and events along with many planned new releases across all formats.
